Do You Know What You’re Worth?
With Fixed Assets, you always know the current status on all
your fixed assets. That’s because Fixed Assets gives you a real-time,
accurate overview of all your fixed assets. You always
know your book value and your accumulated depreciation. What’s
more, integration to Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision means
that you can easily reconcile your fixed assets to your general
ledger.
Drill Down to the Details
Drill-down functionality and on-the-fly filters transform your
chart of accounts from a passive summary to a practical instrument
that offers precise statements with fully updated information.
After you set up the chart of accounts exactly as you want it,
you are ready to find specific aspects of your company’s finances—with
data from both the current fiscal year and previous years.
You can set up all the accounts that you
need in the chart of accounts and add more whenever necessary.
You can decide which columns of information and figures you want
displayed and the order they should appear in. You can insert
headings, blank lines, and page breaks wherever you wish. You
can also view total accounts wherever needed. A G/L account card
provides a complete summary of each account. Account numbers
containing both numbers and letters can be made up of up to 20
characters.

Balances and Net Changes
In the chart of accounts, you can see continually updated balances
and net changes for each account. They can be combined with
a filter for date, project, department, budget, and business-unit
dimensions. The filters can easily be defined, changed, or canceled.
And with a single click of the mouse, you can drill down to
see a record of all the ledger entries that comprise a given
figure.
Online Control of Your Bank Accounts
Cash Manager connects you to your financial institutions and
provides an efficient means of keeping your bank accounts fully
updated. It allows you to manage and reconcile bank accounts
as well as print checks directly from your Microsoft Navision
application.
Manage Multiple Bank Accounts
Bank Account Management puts you online with your financial
institutions allowing you to administrate an unlimited number
of bank accounts. Balances are maintained in local and foreign
currencies. Cash receipts and payment transactions are tracked
for each bank account.
Simplify Bank Reconciliation
When business activity increases, discrepancies between the
bank account records in your system and the records kept by
your bank often increase proportionally. The bank account reconciliation
features in Microsoft Business Solutions–Navision make it easy
to verify that your bank account records agree with those of
the bank at the end of a specific period.
Automate Check Writing
Check-writing facilities allow you to automate and control the
entire check-writing process. You can print checks that you
have created manually as well as computer-generated checks.
Controls are also in place for check-number tracking and voiding
checks (if they do not print properly, for example).
