Network Engineer
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Windows 2000/2003 expert to support
and develop internal/external MS Windows 2000/2003 infrastructure.
A successful candidate will provide a direction for the architecture
and development of our Windows based network and will be a leader
to other team members.
Duties And Responsibilities
 |
Setting up Multi-Server Networks |
|
Acting as a Lead Engineer on medium
to large size project specializing in recognized high-end
or complex technologies |
|
Troubleshooting escalated Operating
System problems |
|
Act as a Network Design System Specialist |
|
Senior Systems Engineer may be required
to prepare written documentation for customer deliverables
and perform other ad hoc duties as assigned. |
Requirements:
|
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or
Computer Science, or equivalent technical training |
|
Advanced certification in one or more
of the company's core competencies (MCSE, Windows 2000,
MCP, Exchange 2000, Citrix, A+) |
|
5+ years experience working in medium
to large networking environments |
|
Active Directory (ADS) design and implementation |
|
Strong Microsoft Exchange and/or SQL
experience (Cluster Server/High Availability experience
a plus) |
|
Expertise with hardware (HP/IBM Servers)
and Network Operating System |
|
Strong familiarity and working knowledge
of IP |
|
Demonstrated expertise in advanced
troubleshooting procedures and abilities with recognized
high-end technologies |
|
Capable of being consistently billable
within the approved rates for the level |
|
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal
communication skills with abilities to negotiate and interact
with entry and middle level management |
|
Able to lead and provide direction
to groups of engineers working on medium to large sized
projects |
|
Cisco router and/or switch experience
a plus |
